    Here is a link to an example of extreme weathering that I did last year, using a Tau Devilfish as a test platform for various chipping techniques.

    As you can see, I ended up using artist’s latex masking fluid in between the metal paint layer and the base coat and again between the base coat and the colour blocks (for that “X-Wing” look).

    A more subtle version of this effect has been used on my Fledermaus, which is still being painted …
