A winner for weathering

The votes have been counted both here and on the Facebook voting event and it was a good turn out for voters this month – thank you all for taking the time to look at the entries and leave your feedback.

Comments were once again really good on the Facebook event, and thin on the ground on this site – but many thanks to those who did make the effort, it really does make a difference to those who take part.

It was a very close race this time around, with not much separating the top 3, so without futher ado:

The Results

*****Highly Commended*****
F – Sewer Skaven by James McLardy with 3 votes – and a lot of positive comments, a popular piece
E – Death of King Arthur by Rebecca Hubbard with 3 votes
A – Cyclops by Alex Riley – with 3 votes yes the creepy one, this was sculpted by Alex, some nice work there
C – Chaos Knight by Tim Cook – with 4 votes a very popular model, great work as usual Tim

*****3rd Place*****
B – Space Marine by Rhiannon Grundy – with 11 votes, a close contest between the top 3, lots of good feedback for this model, hope you’ll take part again

*****2nd Place*****
I – Chimera by Konrad Sontag – with 15 votes, a very close finish, and great work by Konrad, a very popular choice

*****1st Place*****
H – Predator by Jason Hubbard – with 18 votes, a very close race between the top 3. Great realistic weathering – you just need to write an article on how you did it for the magazine now.

Congrats to everyone who took part – solid entries all round.
