September update

September 6, 2010

Sorry for the lack of posts – since IMP I have been no stop with my job, writing articles for Irregular Magazine and working on my entry for the UK Golden Demon competition.

But it is indeed September already, so a few updates are appropriate. Read on for challenges, competitions and events.

Old Glory Speed Painting Challenge

April 12, 2010

Are you up for the challenge of painting a 40mm medieval infantryman in just 30 mins?

That’s the challenge Old Glory miniatures have set for Triples this weekend, and we’ll be there to make it happen. Upstairs at the English Institute for Spor,t Sheffield, at the end of the corridor (above the canteen) we’ll have a room where you can test your mettle.

There will be brushes, paints and figures ready for each 30 minute session over the weekend at the following times:

Saturday 17th April

  • 11:00
  • 12:00
  • 14:00
  • 15:00

Sunday 18th April

  • 11:00
  • 12:00

The winner of each session will be put forward towards a grand prize each day – the Old Glory speed painting trophy! It’s FREE to enter.

Starting the new year with a bang

January 1, 2010

It’s January 1st, 2010 – and the start of the ‘tenties’ as I saw someone mention on Twitter.

With the festivities out of the way, I hope no one has forgotten that there’s a painting challenge deadline on Sunday January 10th – which is our Silent Night theme. There’s still plenty of time to get your entry prepped, painted and photographed – so get your brushes out and get cracking.
