Wounded painting challenge: Feedback

January 22, 2011

Thanks to all those who took the time to score and comment on the two, brave challenge entries. The scores will be totalled soon, but for now, here are the comments that have been left for our entrants.

Red challenge: feedback

December 7, 2010

Voting has now closed and the results of the November painting challenge: Red are being calculated.

While you’re waiting to find out who gets the Merit Award this month, why not check out the feedback left for our entrants.

Thanks to all those who voted and took the time to comment.

Gunslinger the feedback

May 9, 2010

The votes are in, but before the results here is the feedback that has been left by members on each entry for the April painting challenge.

Not many members voted this time around which is a shame – hopefully more of you will get involved with voting for the May challenge later this month.

Big thanks to all those that took the time to check out the entries, vote and comment.
Remember – all comments are friendly and helpful, our no meanness policy prevents unnecessary commenting. (more…)

After the Battle: Feedback

April 12, 2010

The March painting challenge theme was: After the battle, for which we had three fantastic entries that you’ve been voting on. It’s great to see a scenery piece included in the entries – which goes to show that ANY model is suitable for our challenges. We also accept ANY scale and from ANY manufacturer!

Below you’ll find the feedback that was provided by other members for each of the entries. Results will follow soon.

We appreciate that members only leave helpful and friendly comments, so if you feel that any comment was too harsh please get in touch. If you’re comment is not included below it was considered unsuitable.

Remember, everyone sees a model differently and that will be reflected in the feedback.

Feedback for Silent Night

January 16, 2010

The polls have closed and the votes are being counted.

Big thanks to everyone who took the time to vote and comment – a great turn out for the voting once again. There were a few of you who forgot to confirm your vote by writing on the FB event wall, or commenting on this site – and I’m afraid your votes will not be counted.

The theme for the December painting challenge was: Silent Night and despite there not being many entries this time around, there was a lot of creativity in the submissions, and with montage photos from all the entrants it’s been good to see the minis from multiple angles.

Fly the Flag – Feedback

December 6, 2009

Huge thanks to everyone who took the time to comment whilst voting on the entries for the November painting challenge.

The theme for the November painting challenge was: Fly the Flag and some fantastic entries were produced by painters with a broad range of experience, which was really nice to see.

We also had a record number of voters again, a really great turn out – thank you all for taking the time to get involved.

Feedback for the Oct painting challenge

October 31, 2009

The voting has closed. I think we have a record number of voters this month. Huge thanks to all those who took the time to vote and comment.

The October challenge theme was: Winter’s Touch, so snow was a common feature on many of the entries.

We had a few first time challengers this month – it’s always good to see new members taking part. I hope you all enjoyed it!

The results of how each entry fared on theme and style – as well as how it ranked overall will be posted later this evening.

Feedback for the Sept Painting Challenge

October 5, 2009

The voting has closed. Huge thanks go to all of you who took the time to complete the voting form, and leave comments for the challengers.

As you’ll remember, the September painting challenge was to paint a mini using only 3 pots of paint. The entries in all their glory can be seen on our earlier post Sept Painting Challenge entries.

Every entry has had time, thought and creative effort put into it – a really good show this month. Congrats to you all.
