September update

September 6, 2010

Sorry for the lack of posts – since IMP I have been no stop with my job, writing articles for Irregular Magazine and working on my entry for the UK Golden Demon competition.

But it is indeed September already, so a few updates are appropriate. Read on for challenges, competitions and events.

The Results! (Sept painting challenge)

October 5, 2009

Thanks for being so patient – the winner of this month’s Merit Award will now be revealed…

The scoring works like this, voters mark each entry (except their own) out of 10 for theme and style. These scores are added together and divided by the number of voters to create a total, average score. The highest score wins the Merit Award trophy, sponsored by Jonathan Shaw of BMF painting.

Feedback for the Sept Painting Challenge

October 5, 2009

The voting has closed. Huge thanks go to all of you who took the time to complete the voting form, and leave comments for the challengers.

As you’ll remember, the September painting challenge was to paint a mini using only 3 pots of paint. The entries in all their glory can be seen on our earlier post Sept Painting Challenge entries.

Every entry has had time, thought and creative effort put into it – a really good show this month. Congrats to you all.
